The giant social media site Facebook which connects people around the globe has made a greatest acquisition by acquiring the mobile messaging application WhatsApp. Both the applications focus in the direction of connecting people with millions of users. Mark Zuckerberg , CEO of Facebook Inc decided to buy the messaging service of smart phones WhatsApp at the cost of US$19 billion ( US$16 billion in cash and $3 in restricted stocks). The huge amount makes us wonder what else could have been bought from this expenditure and what else might be cheaper from this deal.
Burj Khalifa, one of the tallest manmade structure and a magnificent skyscraper in Dubai, UAE. Standing at a height of 2722ft the construction cost was $1.5 billion which is so cheap at the cost of WhatsApp. Facebook could have built 12 such buildings with few pennies left at the price of WhatsApp.
