Hawa Mahal

The literal English translation is the palace of winds or also called the windy palace. Constructed in 1700’s. It is a 5 floor building with tons of windows and large courtyards hence so much ventilation. It is situated in the old Jaipur.

 

Amber Fort

This fort is also known as the Fort of Victory, Jaigarh Fort is the best of the three forts overlooking the city of Jaipur. Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh, built the Fort in the year 1726, the architecture is meant for using the fort as a military base for the security of Amer.

The Jaivana (Hindi- जयवाण) cannon is a large 18th-century weapon !! Now it is located at the Jaigarh Fort, Jaipur
