Dubai is a beautiful country and has many attractions – some god made and some other man made. But the stay in Dubai is a unique experience. Dubai being one of the most comfortable places on the Persian Gulf has stringent laws and rules for people living in Dubai. When you are on the soil of Dubai it is also important to abide by their law and respect their rules and traditions… Dubai Donts!
No Drinking in Public
Drinking is not in the tradition of the people of Dubai. So, if you are a foreign resident, then make sure you do not drink in public.
Dubai provides license for foreign residents to consume alcohol at home. Tourists can drink at licensed hotels. Don’t ever think of drink and drive, consequences will be serious.
No To Drugs
Laws and rules against use, possession and sale of drugs, toxic and illegitimate substances are extremely strict. So, agree with ‘NO TO DRUGS’ while you are in Dubai.
Be careful with what you carry in your medical kit.
No Music and Dance in Public
Unlike in western countries where people show their talents on the streets, Dubai has zero tolerance towards loud music and entertainment on streets.
So keep your desire to sing and dance under control in Dubai.
