#1 Hemkund Sahib- Valley of flowers, Uttarakhand

Hemkund is derived from Sanskrit words “Hem” (snow) and “kund” (bowl). This place is famous as the Gurudwara of tenth Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh ji, is located here. The gurudwara situated is on a glacial lake and surrounded by seven mountain peaks, each adorned by Nishan Sahib on its cliff. This place has surprises and two steps ahead of your imagination.

What’s more? You can trek from here to the famous Valley of Flowers which is only at a 3km distance.
